I recently got back from two awesome weeks on my honeymoon — of which I planned nothing! Those who know me are probably surprised; I’m pretty Type A and very much so a planner. But I survived just fine being whisked around Europe by my new(-ish) husband, hopping between countries and hotels, medieval towns and stunning natural landscapes.

When I arrived back in the US, I found myself:

  1. Sick with the flu — ugh.
  2. Missing all the beauty.

And why keep that all to myself? I’ll try to walk through the location of each photo and my favorite parts. All of these photos were taken with my DSLR and edited in Lightroom. Enjoy x

Ljubljuana & Lake Bled, Slovenia

Lake Bled was potenially one of my favorite places from our trip. A small resort town in the mountains of Slovenia as the leaves changed to orange around us. Just gorgeous.

Triglav National Park

Triglav National Park was another stunning location. The Julian Alps rise up out of nowhere and look nothing like the Rockies, which I’ve gotten used to looking out at from my apartment’s west-facing window.

Rovinj, Croatia

Dubrovnik, Croatia

Hope you enjoyed!

til next time,
